Medical Assistant Degree Specifics

Are you interested in a career in the medical field but aren't sure which path to take? Since the medical industry proves to be one of the fastest growing industries of our time, new positions are constantly being developed in order for medical institutions to fulfill all of their duties. For students who are interested in continuing their education, we recommend a degree in the medical field since career opportunities are continuing to grow even when the job market is becoming increasingly competitive for college graduates.

Specifically, the need for medical assistants has grown at an exponential rate. At Bramson ORT College, we're proud to offer an exceptional medical assistant program that after completion our students can pursue a career as an Ultrasound Technician, Radiology Technician, Registered Nurse or Physician's Assistant.   • Degree: Medical Assistant Associate Degree

  • Department: Medical and Natural Sciences
  • Admissions Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Program participants will be introduced to topics such as medical billing and coding, medical transcription, clinical procedures, laboratory procedures and more. Furthermore, all students are required to complete an internship where they are given a hands-on opportunity to experience all that will be required of them upon entering the field.
