Professor Aicha Cesar's Legal Writing and Research class participated in the College's Second Moot Court Competition held at the Brooklyn campus on September 17, 2013. The students previously submitted their written briefs on the torts case which involved the legal theories of trespass, strict liability, assault and battery, vicarious liability, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, conversion, and duty of care. Students presented oral arguments for both sides at the Competition, which were judged by BOC faculty. Congratulations to Andini Trisky, Winner of the Competition, and to all of the participants who did a superb job representing their clients and making legal arguments. Thank you to Professor Aicha Cesar for assembling an interesting moot court case and preparing the students for their arguments.
