PL 180 Intellectual Property Course with Steven Stern

Steven Stern, Esq., is a founding partner of Stern & Schurin LLP, and Bramson ORT College is proud to have him as a member of its faculty.  Mr. Stern possesses a wide range of knowledge and experience in the area of utility patents.  Mr. Stern is also an established expert in design patent law, and routinely counsels clients in the consumer retail and jewelry industries. 

Mr. Stern teaches Intellectual Property (IP) law, a course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Intellectual Property Law including:  Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation of documentation regarding the protection of thoughts, inventions, ideas, symbols, music, 3-D creations and literary works.  In addition to practical, hands-on instruction preparing and completing the forms required to secure protection for clients, students are provided with an overview of the protection afforded by these facets of the law.

Students will be trained to prepare and record assignments of rights, as well as prepare and file other routine documentations that are required to protect intellectual property rights.  Students will also become familiarized with the entire application process for patents, trademarks and copyrights, in addition to post-registration procedures for each.

Pharmacy Technician Program at Bramson ORT College - Learn More Today

Bramson ORT College offers a Pharmacy Technician Associate of Applied Science Degree. Students in this program will learn medical terminology, compounding and quality customer care and many other important areas.
Our program is designed to teach students administrative and clinical pharmacy practices in settings such as hospitals and smaller medical centers. Students in this program will also complete an internship, which is an integral part of the course of study. Internships also help students get direct job experience out in the work force and also teach them further skills needed to give them a competitive edge in their place of work.

Bramson ORT College Paralegal Associate Degree

Recently, Bramson ORT College added a Paralegal Associates degree to our list of programs. The Paralegal Program is dedicated to helping all students master the skills needed to succeed in the legal profession.
