Final 3D Animation Presentation

Bramson ORT College's Game Design Department held a final critique and student animation showcase yesterday in classroom 12.

Professor Dominika Juraszek invited guests from the industry to screen students' final work and give professional feedback. The judges included Matthew Capezzuto from Ashcan Studios, and fellow Bramson ORT alumni, Dennis Ilagan, who recently formed a gaming company (Boogie Down Games) with other graduates.

Design faculty, Emily Wang, who has years of experience in the fashion and design industry, also gave feedback to our creative students. 

The screening was a success. Students shared their final 3D modeling and animation work as well as their concepts and storyboards. 

The judges presented final awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The first place winner was Ying Chen, 2nd place winner was Yuxing Chen and 3rd place was Jonathan Wu. Visit our online student gallery to see samples of the student work:

During the last year of a student's college career, their primary focus tends to be where they are going to settle down in a career after graduation. Since today's job market is especially tough to enter for young college graduates, most seniors make job searching part of their everyday routine while they are still in school. However, though it may sound easy to do a quick web search on local companies that are hiring, landing an interview and beating out the vast competition is easier said than done.

In order to help streamline the process of job searching for students, many companies and organizations host job fairs where students can meet with prospective employers face to face. This month, we are pleased to announce that there are three local job fairs taking place that Bramson ORT College students are invited to be a part of! See below for this month's job fair schedule:
