As computer technology continues to advance, there is an increasing demand for individuals who can creatively design content for businesses to aid them in their web, advertising and marketing efforts. At Bramon ORT, we educate our students in all areas of graphic design so that they are prepared for a variety of entry-level positions pertaining to visual communications.
Students interested in a career in graphic design can obtain either an
Associate's Degree or
Professional Certificate through our programs. See below for a breakdown of the graphic design opportunities we offer:
Graphic Design Certificate:
- 30 semester credits
- Offered at our Brooklyn and Queens campuses
- High school diploma or GED required
- Career opportunities include but are not limited to advertising graphic designer, visual designer, flash designer, storyboards artist, print designer or presentation specialist
Computer Information Systems Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree: Graphic Design Concentration
- 60 semester credits
- Offered at our Brooklyn and Queens campuses
- High school diploma or GED required
- Career opportunities include but are not limited to computer programmer, computer systems analyst, network architect, 3D modeling technician or java developer.
In these programs, students are introduced to major web applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more. Using modern Mac computers, our highly experienced instructors will show students how to navigate the latest computer softwares and will assist them in creating original web development projects.
